My name is Brook Eyob and I am an undergraduate researcher in the Green Group. I am currently in my senior year at MIT, studying Chemical Engineering.
I am interested in studying how we can use energy more efficiently while reducing the associated negative impacts. My project will focus on measuring the kinetics and product distribution of bimolecular radical reactions relevant to combustion to improve our understanding of the chemical pathways used during these reactions. I am excited to learn more about how to use experimental results to improve our models for predicting chemical pathways.
I grew up in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia before moving to MIT for school. I am part of the Energy Club on campus, and in my free time I enjoy playing board games and watching movies.
